Your support of the Camp Luther endowments will create a lasting legacy that will bless children, adults, and families for generations to come. Camp Luther has two endowments:

The Lee Belmas Every Kid to Camp ministry fund

Distributions from this endowment create an annual source of income that supplements Every Kid to Camp scholarship and financial aid known as Camperships. Every Kid to Camp, named in honor of Lee Belmas who launched this ministry, allows children the opportunity to come to camp and learn about Jesus at no cost to their families. Since its inception, over 3400 children have attended Camp through Every Kid to Camp. Approximately $25,000 is provided annually to families as financial aid through the Becky Steiner Memorial Campership Fund that makes it possible for their children to come to Camp. Camp Luther wants all children the opportunity to attend regardless of their financial circumstances.

The Camp Luther Endowment

This endowment will create a reliable source of income in perpetuity for Camp Luther and its mission. This fund will relieve pressure on the annual Outdoor Ministry Fund in caring for this ministry. It will help Camp Luther maintain its facilities, property, and equipment that are essential in providing Christ-centered camps and retreats for thousands of children and adults annually. It can help Camp Luther whether future pandemics or economic downturns that could adversely affect the ministry.  

Both the Camp Luther Endowment is managed by the Lutheran Legacy Foundation. The Camp Luther Endowment Committee is responsible for policy and oversight.
