Food Service Assistant (Full Job Description)

This role supports the mission of Camp Luther by “feeding bellies and feeding souls” for all guests, donors, and volunteers, as well as the successful performance of overall appearance, cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the entire food service, pack-out, and dining areas.

The Food Service Assistant is responsible for:   

  • As a member of the kitchen team, assist in creating delicious, healthy, balanced meals on time to reach and maintain an exemplary standard of food service.

  • Prepare and serve meals independently.

  • Support leadership and coordination of meals, including off-site meals.

  • Prepare on average four pack-out meals per week during the summer.
