same big god for 80 years
Praise be to God that we are able to recognize 80 years of Camp Luther! These eight decades have been filled with change, growth, hardships, and milestones, and through it all, Christ has remained at the center. Camp Luther was founded in 1946 with 91 acres, three cottages, and one lodge. Over the years, we have expanded our acreage, developed new facilities, and grown in staff, campers, volunteers, and visitors. Countless lives have been impacted and shaped by the ministry here, and we know it is only by God’s grace that we can celebrate the blessing Camp Luther has been and continues to be.
As we enter 2026 and begin our 80th year, we want to take time to commemorate all that Camp Luther has meant to so many. To celebrate this milestone, we’ve formed a planning committee that is organizing events throughout the year to honor and recognize Camp Luther’s legacy. We are excited to invite everyone to be part of this ongoing celebration in 2026, and we hope you’ll join us!
80th Anniversary Celebration - Saturday, June 6, 2026
On June 6, 2026, we’ll be celebrating 80 incredible years of Camp Luther with a special event you won’t want to miss! The full weekend of programming will start June 5 at 6:00pm and go through worship on Sunday morning, June 7.

COST FOR SATURDAY ONLY: For the Saturday Event only, it is $25 per person and that includes programming in the afternoon/evening on June 6th along with supper.
COST FOR WHOLE WEEKEND: For the weekend (Friday evening through Sunday morning) it is $55 per person. This includes meals from Saturday breakfast through Sunday breakfast. Retreat Center rooms can be rented for the weekend for $100 per room.
Registration Information
Please sign up all individuals attending for each event. You do not need to sign up for both the day event and the weekend. If you sign up for the full weekend, that already includes the day event on Saturday.
For cottages, there is a 4-night minimum that is reflected in the cost. You can also book up to four additional nights at our standard rates. After registration, a Camp Luther staff member will contact you to determine which nights you would like to stay at camp. Cottages are available from June 4-12.
Camp Luther Sunday - Sunday, January 18, 2026
On January 18th, across Wisconsin we are asking churches to celebrate with us God's work through the mission of Camp Luther since 1946! Incredible. Our them is "Unchanging" from Hebrews 13:8, ”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
