There are a lot of things that make life hard.
Sometimes, life is hard because we’re angry.
Sometimes, life is hard because we’re stressed.
Sometimes, life is hard because we’re lonely.
Sometimes, life is hard because we’re scared.
But Jesus tells us, “Come to me, all of you who are tired and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
And so I ask Him:
Jesus, take away my anger and give me your love.
Jesus, take away my stress and give me your peace.
Jesus, take away my loneliness and give me your comfort.
Jesus, take away my fear and give me your joy.
And you know what? He takes it away.
Everyday, He takes it away.
